Project responsibilities included; providing ADA/accessibility analysis for the entirety of this newly-constructed, hotel and casino resort including all units within the 57-story, high-rise hotel tower, approx. 100,000 sf of casino play area, 200,000 sf of convention spaces, meeting rooms, and ballroom areas, 4-acre pool deck, 1.2M sf of retail tenant suites, a 4,000 seat theater, and full review of all restaurants and “street-food” dining court with related public seating and back-of-house staff spaces. PCNA Group also completed a full site-walk inspection for the entire property; ensuring all spaces were constructed in accordance with architectural plan requirements and current ADA/accessibility code standards. This project was completed on time and within the budget.
Project responsibilities included; providing full accessibility design review and compliance assurance services for this 15-story, 600 room hotel and casino project fully equipped with retail tenant suites, restaurants, full-service spa, cinema, sports book, conference center, and bingo hall. This project was delivered on time and within budget.
Project responsibilities included; providing code consulting services, fire protection engineering, egress design, ADA/accessibility analysis, and alternate methods of compliance for this 3-building, world-class, high-rise waterfront development that will consist of 1,200 hospitality sleeping units, convention center, retail mall, oceanfront boardwalk and marina, parking garage structure, and rooftop pool deck. The complex egress demands of this project, presented unique design challenges to overcome.
Project responsibilities included; performing egress analysis for an expansion to the resort’s conference center, containing 200,000 sf of ballroom space and 40,000 sf of pre-function area. This expansion required unique egress solutions to conform to occupant load and travel distance requirements.
Project responsibilities included; providing architectural plans-check reviews, preparation of egress design drawings, tenant improvement fire protection reports, and accessibility analysis for an interior renovation to the existing, 156,000 SF casino floor of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV. This project consisted of both a renovation to the existing KENO playing area as well as a complete relocation of the casino’s Poker room.
Project responsibilities included; providing full code consulting, fire protection engineering, egress design, and ADA/accessibility analysis for this newly-constructed, 8-story, high-rise hotel tower building. Challenges presented by this project included a partial demolition of the existing “Asian” gaming salon to provide uninterrupted access from the casino and rooftop pool deck areas and obtaining approval through the “code appeals process” to allow the structure to be constructed as a “podium building” with 5 levels of type III-A construction over 3 levels of type I-A construction.
Project responsibilities included; providing full ADA/accessibility design review and site inspections, egress design drawings, construction phasing access diagrams, and peer review of the fire protection report for this 250,000 sf, 5-story, $40M nightclub and restaurant located at the main rotunda entrance to the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
Project responsibilities included; performing architectural plans check and fire/life safety peer reviews for phase I of this time share development along Las Vegas Blvd.
Project responsibilities included; providing full code analysis services, fire protection engineering, egress design, and accessibility analysis for this newly-constructed, 9-story, high-rise hotel and casino building. Constructed adjacent to an alley, PCNA Group obtained approval for an “alternate methods and materials” request that substituted closely-spaced, interior-side sprinklers in lieu of limited window openings. This allowed the property a 10-ft setback along the entire west side of the hotel tower and allowed for the utilization of unlimited openings. PCNA Group has also performed various tenant improvement fire protection reports, sprinkler fire alarm reviews, and alternate sprinkler design & CO2 fire permit submittals that were ultimately approved for the property. The project was delivered on time and within the budget.
Project responsibilities included; code consulting and ADA/accessibility analysis for this newly constructed 4 story hotel building with 200 sleeping units, meeting spaces, restaurant and bar. This project is currently under construction, with final occupancy anticipated in December 2019. This project was delivered on-time and within the original budget.
Project responsibilities included; providing full code, fire protection and life safety analysis, egress design, accessibility design review, and alternate methods of submittals of design compliance for this 64-story, high-rise hotel and condominium project with resident amenities located at the center of the Las Vegas Strip.

Project responsibilities included full fire protection and life safety design including the preparation of fire protection and life safety report, egress design drawings, architectural plans-check review, and site fire protection analysis for this proposed 600-room mixed-use hotel and theme park entry portal. This project utilized NFPA design standards for all design aspects including the building, fire, and life safety codes.
