Russ is a licensed fire protection engineer with over 40 years of experience in fire protection engineering design and consulting. He has successfully delivered a wide variety of projects, including; hospitality, multi-family, municipal and public facilities, education, large assembly, commercial, health care, industrial, high-security, aerospace and Department of Defense. 

In addition to design and consulting, Russ previously worked for the Clark County Building Department as a senor fire protection engineering plan reviewer. He was responsible for the fire protection reviews of several large-scale development projects including the $8 billion MGM City Center project, Harry Reid International Airport – Terminal 3 and numerous tenant improvements to major hotels and casinos throughout Las Vegas. Leveraging his experience as a systems design engineer, code consultant and approval authority, Russ provides a comprehensive understanding of all challenges related to both design and permit approvals.
