Sunseeker Resort Event Center

The Sunseeker Resort Event Center (Phase III) project included the construction of a new mixed-use facility located along the Florida Gulf Coast within the Charlotte County District. The project consisted of the design and construction of a 3-story assembly building expansion on an approximately 22-acre site.
 

The overall site build-out also included an open parking garage and an expansive outdoor event lawn terrace at the grade level. The interior building areas house a high-capacity lobby level including, but not limited to, a large ballroom with flexible break-out options to accommodate multiple concurrent events, a full-scale commercial kitchen facility, and seamless transition points to the outdoor terrace and main swimming pool deck (Phase II).

The upper level consists of professional meeting rooms and a strategic sky bridge connectivity system that allows direct pedestrian access to the main hotel towers (Phase I). Future program considerations for this facility include the optimization of the assembly spaces for diverse hospitality functions and the continued integration of the resort’s waterfront amenities.
